SPDP Mambong Recreational and Social Club (Respdemop) football knock-out tournament ended in Kampung Tabuan Rabak recently.
The objective was to reach the youths in the Mambong Parliamentary Constituencies which is made up of two State Assembly seats – Bengoh and Tarat.
Bravo FC of Kampung Mambong emerged the champion team, defeating SPDP Kampung Tabuan Rabak team 1-0 in the final match.
Third placing went to NB FC from Kota Samarahan while fourth placing went to SBU FC.
Twenty two teams participated in the tournament.
SPDP First Division Liaison Officer Captain Zainuddin Tan Sri Hamdan Sirat gave away the prizes to the winners.
The competition is among several sports and recreational activities organised by Resdemop.
Respdemop also donated 15 tonnes of sand to the village to repair its football field.
